This is a wonderful and very distinct center or dining table with a sculptural pedestal base, made in Europe in the middle of the 20th century.
Very heavy, yet elegant and with a strong sculptural quality. The thick top in solid oak combines beautifully with the sculpted pedestal base. This table would be a great addition to any brutalist or wabi sabi style interior. A heavy and high quality table with beautiful details all over.
Would be very good as a center table in a hall, but could also be used as a dining table.
