Rosewood Nesting Tables by Severin Hansen, Denmark 1960s
-
Description
An excellent set of nesting tables, designed and made in the 1960s by the Danish designer Severin Hansen. This set consists of three side tables varying in size. The slender and very elegant legs are tapered and then beautifully incorporated into the top by means of a mitered connection. The patina is really of a different order and shows a dramatic hue and shimmer. Each table has a slightly different drawing in the wood and diffusely shows other striking shades. Each table still bears the original label of "Danish Furniture Makers Control". The condition of the nesting tables is very good with only minor traces of usage.
