Danish furniture designer Svend Aage Madsen produced a wide range of modern pieces for many of the mid-century Scandinavian manufactures. This is is one of his most notable designs - creating a "floating" primary case visual with eight drawers on two sides in teakwood. Curved front and back with open shelf and one drawer to back. Produced by Danish firm Sigurd Hansen in 1960s. Recently refinished and fully restored.
