The Batchelder Family Diminutive Queen Anne Drop-Leaf Table
North Shore, Probably Portsmouth, NH. Ca. 1750
Butternut, maple and pine secondary woods

This fine Queen Anne drop leaf table in a desirable small size is also appealing for its design features of high-peaked knees on cabriole legs ending on extended platform feet. The underside shows the table’s untouched nature with original blocking, wrought iron hinges and oxidized surface.
