Description
This end table is constructed with fiberglass over a wooden structure. It is finished in Venetian plaster with a acrylic table top and red oak legs.
This table is the result of a design experiment where one "soft" geometry was subjected to the forces of gravity, inflation, and tension. this soft geometry was then collided with a solid primitive geometry. The resulting impact creates the geometry of this table. Design sketches and animation are available upon request. -
