Charming French articulated brooch in the shape of a Penguin. His head can be moved from side to side and his wings can be moved and posed. In perfect condition, and marked on back with maker's name J. Parmentier and Paris and Bte S.G.D.G. which indicates that the pin was made prior to mid 1960s. The body is made of a white agate with black enamel , 18K yellow gold , as well as enamel wings. He has small red stones for eyes. His adorable feet are shaped by cabochon pink spinel. He measures at 1 1/2" high. (4 cm). There is also a French touch mark for 18K gold is on the clip's prong, where it is secured by a sliding barrel lock. Approximately 7.8 dwt.
