Description
A cast bronze brooch by French Parisian Art Jeweler Line Vautrin (1913-1997) circa 1950s. The small lovely bronze pieces features a medallion insignia design with olive branch wreath surrounding an enamel portrait of a royal female, presumably Queen Marie Antoinette. It is deceivingly classic but with a naughty twist. Branded on the back Vautrin. It appears that the portrait has a bronze backing and was welded in thus unlikely exchangeable.
Height: 0.3 in. (7.62 mm)
