Description
This elegant victorian brooch was realized in the United States, circa 1920. it features two ovoids that together create an hourglass shape that meet in the center at a diamond form. A collection of circular turquoise stones sit in in the center of these two ovoids on the outside of the broach flanked by delicately filigreed stylized leaves. These foliate details also recur in the center of the diamond form framed on top and bottom by floral detailing suggesting buttercups. With its beautiful detailing and refined palate, this brooch is as versatile as it is elegant. It would be equally well paired with casual attire or a evening wear. Excellent condition. 4 grams.
