This beautiful Art Deco necklace was realized in France, circa 1925. It features a pentagonal platinum pendant with scalloped sides and intricate filigree work surrounding a black onyx center with a fine European cut diamond embedded in the center. The onyx and diamond pendant attaches via a circular fitting to an ovoid embellishment hanging from a quintessentially Art Deco sculptural platinum and diamond crown form. The chain retains its original platinum lavalier. With its old world elegance and beautiful craftsmanship, this piece is as modern looking today as when it was created nearly one hundred years ago. Excellent vintage condition. 6 grams.
