About the Maker - Atelier Zobel has stood as a byword for extraordinary jewelry of timeless beauty for more than 45 years. Peter Schmid was born and raised in the South of Germany, completing his training as a goldsmith and jewelry designer in 1995. After working with the one whose work inspired him, Michael Zobel for more than ten years, Schmid took over the studio in 2005. Sculpted in precious metals Peter reveals the natural dialogue between the crystalline structures of the gemstone and their expression in avant-garde art.
