French Art Deco Sterling Silver with Gemstone Rosetta Compact Case by Cartier

Description
A fine Cartier compact case in the iconic Art Deco style, circa 1930s. Sterling silver with gold gilt interior that feature a mirror and a compartment for powder. The exterior features engraved sunrays pattern that radiates out from a central jeweled rosette, inset with a circle of 12 ruby-colored gemstones (likely garnets) surrounding a larger stone in the center.
Marked Sterling, Cartier and its maker's logo on the back hinge side a shown.
It measures 2.5" x 2.5" x 0.4".
