Walter Schluep Sterling silver and 18K Gold ring surmounted with a large ‘cracked’ like quadrilateral, the blackened interior revealing three 18K gold colour cylinder tubes, one set with a yellow faceted sapphire. polished trapeze shaped shank with inner round shank. Signed Schluep Sterling. Ring size: 8. Item Weight: 29.83 grams. Spanish born and Geneva trained, Schluep emigrated to Montreal, opened Montreal boutique in 1964.His innovative bold and stylish designs reflect the subconscious and compulsive. An avant-garde artist of the 1960’s and 1970's. Walter Schluep is recognized worldwide for his contribution to the Modernist and Modern Art movement. Walter Schluep worked alongside notable jewelers such as Gabriel Lucas, George Delrue, and Hans Gehrig while exhibiting extensively. Schluep's creative and culturally relevant works of art are becoming increasingly sought after.
