Angela Cummings is an American jewelry designer who was born in 1944 in New York City. She is best known for her minimalist and nature-inspired designs, which have earned her numerous awards and recognition in the world of fine jewelry.
 
Cummings began her career in the 1960s, working as a designer for Tiffany & Co. She later went on to start her own company, Angela Cummings Jewelry, in 1984. Her designs often incorporate natural elements such as leaves, flowers, and animals, and she is known for her use of unusual materials such as fossils, meteorites, and petrified wood.
 
Cummings has won many awards for her work, including the Coty Award in 1976, the De Beers Diamond International Award in 1980, and the Women's Jewelry Association Designer of the Year Award in 1993. Her designs have been worn by many celebrities, including Elizabeth Taylor, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, and Oprah Winfrey.
 
Although Cummings retired from jewelry design in 2003, her legacy lives on through her unique and timeless designs, which continue to be highly sought after by collectors and jewelry enthusiasts.
