Karl Lagerfeld

Karl Lagerfeld (1933-2019) was a German fashion designer, artist, and photographer who worked in the fashion industry for over six decades. He was best known for his work as creative director at Chanel, a position he held from 1983 until his death in 2019. Lagerfeld was also the creative director for the Italian fashion house Fendi and had his own eponymous fashion label. He was known for his creative and innovative designs, as well as his wit and outspoken personality. In addition to his work in fashion, Lagerfeld was a respected photographer and artist, and his work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world.
