It was in 1949, under new ownership, that Mattoon Manufacturing underwent a transformation and was renamed R-Way Furniture. R-Way Furniture continued to operate under this name until 1992, when production gradually declined.
By 1993, the decline in production reached a critical point, leading to the auctioning of R-Way Furniture Company's plant. Unfortunately, this marked the end of the company's trading journey.
