H. Th. J. A. Busquet was a Dutch furniture designer born in 1914. He studied interior design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague and started his own furniture design company, HTH (H. Th. J. A. Busquet) in 1948. Busquet's furniture designs were characterized by clean lines, simplicity, and functionality, often using natural materials such as wood and leather. His designs were influenced by the Dutch modernist movement and the Scandinavian design aesthetic. Busquet's work gained popularity in the 1950s and 1960s and his designs were sold worldwide. He continued to design furniture until his death in 1977. Today, his work is highly sought after by collectors and design enthusiasts.
