The Quarry Lamp in Bronze

Description
The "Quarry" lamp is a collaboration between Martyn Thompson Studio and ceramic artist Dove Drury Hornbuckle. This design combines Dove's haphazard aesthetic, with it's off kilter stack of crude shapes, and the refined, bohemian spirit of Martyn Thompson Studio.
Dove has assembled the lamp by hand, piecing it together like a sculpture, before the it is finished in our workroom - the lamp is UL certified.
The lamp is crowned with a bespoke MTS tapestry shade, banded with vintage Fortuny fabric and features decorative hand stitched embroidery.
The studio has worked with a Fine Art Foundry in New York who cast for Al Weiwei and Lynda Benglis, for this Bronze edition of the Quarry Lamp. -
