A fine Cartier compact case in Art Deco style, circa 1930s. Sterling silver with gold gilt interior. The exterior features engraved line pattern that radiates out from a central jewelled rosette inset with a circle of 12 ruby colored gem stones (likely garnets) and a larger one in the centre.
Marked sterling, Cartier and its maker's logo on the side.
