American School, possibly by Joseph Goodhue Chandler, New York.
42″h x 33″w; 43 1/2″ x 34 1/2″ framed
This charming portrait of a young boy wearing a suit holding a hoop and hat is painted in full length in front of a wonderful landscape view. The hand appears to be that of Chandler or a contemporary painting in the same style or manner.
