Description
20c design is proud to represent this phenomenal abstract waveform sculpture created by contemporary artist Douglas Ihlenfeld. It is crafted from hand-welded bronze with an applied verdigris patina. This sculpture represents a tremendous amount of work and is a testament to the commitment the artist has made to bringing his visions into fruition. This sculpture is intriguing from every angle and is imaginative on a level that will inspire even the harshest critic. It is truly a masterpiece!
Douglas is the son of the world-renowned sculptor, Klaus Ihlenfeld. He mastered his craft under the supervision of his father and lived for many years on the Harry Bertoia family property where he was constantly surrounded by some of the most important 20th-century modernist sculptures ever produced. His work is the next chapter of that legacy. -
