Description
Very fine 18th century Italian, probably Venetian three-drawer commode, the top faux painted to simulate Sienna marble, over three graduated drawers festooned with floral and ribbon swags, standing on square tapered legs with ring turned collars, the molded drawer edges and leg collars with silver gilt highlights, the sides with painted boughs, retaining mostly original decoration throughout.
