Dario Campanile is an Italian-born American artist known for his figurative and abstract paintings. He was born in Rome in 1948 and grew up surrounded by art, as his father was a well-known painter and sculptor.

In addition to his career as a painter, Campanile has also written several books on art and creativity, and has taught painting and drawing at universities and art schools in the United States and Europe.
