We Will Attain Peace

Price Upon Request
  • Description
This piece from Sax Berlins studio is beautifully balanced between the contemporary art world and the spiritual world of peace and contemplation. In his own words Berlin believes that this is "my most accomplished Buddhist painting. A treasure for an Emperor".

Berlin's Buddhist art is much acclaimed by both orientalists and collectors, he believes that his "icons are not portraits of Shakyamuni but symbols of enlightenment". No matter how one appreciates this painting it is a masterly working of earthy, hand ground pigments derived from semi-precious stones with luxurious 24ct gold leaf and white gold leaf.
