Marion Friedmann Gallery launched in 2011 in London and merges a penchant for the avant-garde with a passion to celebrate and promote the most remarkable emerging and established contemporary designers. The gallery represents eclectic & eccentric collectible design with a special interest in`Materiality ́as well as in pieces with a positive environmental message. The objects range from furniture, lighting, objets d`art, jewelry and sculpture. We develop bespoke and special commissions for clients.
The media acclaimed show`Enlightened Waste ́marked the beginning of the gallery’s trajectory as an ambassador for international design with an established focus on Mexico and Latin America. Artists were brought to the spotlight in various gallery exhibitions between London, Austria, Milan and Mexico City, as well as in a blockbuster museum exhibition at the Museum of Art and Design (MAD) in New York about contemporary Latin American design.
Marion Friedmann has been a design advocate for more than twenty five years, working as a curator, collector, art-advisor and consultant.
