1960s Sergio Mazza Brass 'Sigma' wall or ceiling lights for Artemide. Executed in polished brass and pressed opaline glass by Sergio Mazza for Artemide, Italy, circa 1960s. Professionally rewired for US electrical and accommodates two standard e27 40 watt max incandescent bulbs (higher with LED).
Born in Italy in 1931, Sergio Mazza created numerous iconic designs for Artemide throughout the 1960s, from a range of lighting to fiberglass molded seating and other home furnishings which due to their limited production runs have become highly collectible with their clean lines and intuitive utility.
Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing available from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. -
