Description
A Bronze Brooch in a silvered finish by French art jeweler Line Vautrin (1913-1997) entitled "Mignonne Allons Voir Si La Rose" (Sweetheart, let's see if the rose). The large round brooch depicts a rose flower. Its border with relief sculpted inscription aforementioned from a poem by Pierre de Ronsard (1524-1585). Signed on the back as shown. Diameter is about 2.2"
