French 19th Century Large Portrait of Friedrich Engels on Canvas
-
Description
Dimensions: 94″H x 67-1/4″W x 1-1/2″D
A heavily bearded Friedrich Engels stares into the distance in this massive 19th century French canvas portrait. Donning a three piece suit, this founder of Marxism is dressed to kill. His beard, although large and prominent, has been managed and kept. An oxblood colored backdrop provides excellent contrast, pushing Mr. Engels to the front of the painting. The work is done on a large piece of loose canvas, and would make a dramatic statement on a large wall. - More Information
