Description
Monarch is a large scale wall-mount reading lamp or sconce with articulated arms. The wide brass band and dramatically scaled flared cone makes the Monarch a strong design statement. Swiveling head allows for cone adjustment. Arms articulate at both the backplate and the joint. This design is strongly influenced by both French and Italian Mid-Century Modernism.
Shown in unlacquered brass and a combination of "Hansome and Stark White" enamels.
This piece may be hardwired for use with a light switch (as shown) or made with a cord and plug with toggle switch if hard wiring is not desired. Please specify when ordering.
The cones are 9" height, 5" diameter of the upper cone, 9" diameter of the lower cone. Arms lengths as shown are each 12", but may be easily edited to fit your space.
Enamel color may be specified. Standard enamel colors are shown in the final image. There is no additional lead time or cost for these colors and they may all be produced in satin or high gloss finishes. You may also specify nearly anything in the RAL color chart.
This piece is also fully customizable with 7 - 10 weeks lead time. The frame can be made in any metal finish including antique, brushed or mirrored brass, mirrored or brushed nickel, blackened steel, brushed copper, mirrored copper (rose gold) etc.
Handsome design scaled to work well in a breakfast nook, in a foyer, a forlorn corner, as a reading lamp, a bedside lamp or flanking a bathroom or powder room vanity. The perfect luxe addition to a master suite, nursery or glam room.
This piece may use standard base bulbs up to 60W (or use LED). Bulbs are not included. Fabricated entirely of UL-listed components.
Handcrafted in NYC by Blueprint Lighting, UL certified.
