Mid Century Modern Scandinavian Perforated Aluminum, Brass & Lucite Pendant

Description
This elegant Mid Century Modern chandelier was realized in Sweden, circa 1960. It features a domed body with an abundance of perforations presented in triangular sets of three. There is a lucite shade fitted at the bottom of the fixture secured with a sculptural circular finial. The pendant attaches to the volumetric circular brass canopy (beautifully embellished with a hanging tear drop form) via a brass wire wrapped in spiraling black vinyl cord. With its subtle detailing, refined contrasting metallic palate and clean modernist lines, this fixture would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards and is in excellent vintage condition. It accommodates three candelabra based bulbs offering up to 180 watts of light. The height can be adjusted to suit.
