Mid-Century Modern set of 8 Paul McCobb dining chairs, American, 1950
Stunning set of eight dining chairs in solid maple from Paul McCobb's iconic Planner Group, manufactured by Winchendon Furniture from 1950-1964.
The chair, model #1531, takes its basic inspiration from a Windsor chair, with a low spindle back of tapered dowels supporting a curved backrest.
The seat rests on top of a top four tapered legs and is inlaid with four oversize wooden screw motifs.
This set is in very good vintage condition, wear consistent with age and use. -
