Mid-Century Modern Brass Wrapped Sconces with Rectlinear Textured Glass Shades

Description
This stunning pair of Mid-Century Modern sconces were realized in Italy, circa 1950. They feature streamlined bodies with rectilinear patterned glass consisting of myriad square forms with diamond beveled detailing within. The base and top of the sconces are wrapped in polished brass. With their clean modernist lines and beautiful glass quality, these sconces would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. They have been newly rewired to American standards. Each sconce accommodates two candelabra based bulbs, providing up to 120 watts of light each. Excellent condition.
