Description
Spider chandelier Stilnovo type with 8-light (E14) Brass and opal glass shades The diameter is 32", the height of the body 12" and the original height 30". This spider chandelier is a timeless and elegant masterpiece of midcentury Italian Furniture Design, attributed to the Stilnovo circle. The light sculpture impresses with clear lines and perfect proportions. The lighting in very good vintage condition is carefully cleaned, refreshed and rewired. The brass surfaces show little signs of life and you will find also minimal ships on the edges of the shades, which is no way impairing the chandeliers elegance. The 8 (+1 for reserve) hand blown shades (7 x 2") show the typical signs of handmade glass (small trapped bubbles or irregularities) and made of 2-layered opaline glass (white inside and clear outside). The lights can be switched 0/4/8 with E14 bulbs.
