Description
A mirror by Danish furniture designer and cabinetmaker Peder Moos with a pitch pine frame. The frame has beautiful and subtle joint connections in the corners. It was made in 1945 for the then owner of the manor Østrupgaard in Faaborg, Denmark. The frame is in a good condition, but the glass has some wear. The mirror is signed 'Moos' and 'A35-1945'.
Moos (1906 - 1991) only designed a few items that were produced by Fritz Hansen. Most of his designs, like this one, were hand-made by himself, making his work hard to find. -
