2 plaster standing lamps by Jean-Charles Moreux in a modern neo- Baroque spirit with an Amphora/urn resting on twist form columns. Moreux was a master of the neo-Baroque and surrealism in interior design with his stunning interiors that utilized indoor elements outdoors and outdoor elements indoors. The design of this lamp influenced Jean-Michel Frank's twisting columns utilized in a surrealist interior for Elsa Scaperelli.
There is a single Edison socket enclosed in the urn which shoots light upward. Urns can also detach to become table lamps.
These are priced and sold as individual pieces. The 2 pieces can be sold together as a pair.
