French 19th Century Louis Philippe Mahogany Commode
-
Description
A classic Louis Philippe-styled four-drawer mahogany commode from 19th century France. The case antique has a beautiful gray Sainte-Anne marble top, with rounded front corners to match the base. The apron contains a hidden drawer that does not lock. The three evenly-sized drawers below all contain working locks and provide ample storage for your clothes or belongings. The mahogany veneer has been carefully book matched, creating a symmetry in the grain that otherwise would not exist. The commode is in wonderful antique condition and ready for it’s new home! Shaped feet lift the commode and feature styling found in much of the Louis Philippe case antiques.
