Description
Dimensions: 28 ⅝” H x 49 ¼” W x 31 ½” D
An eyecatching farm table or bakery table dating to 19th century France, using a bold red marble top over a simple frame painted a minty green for contrast. The slab of Rosso Francia marble has a smooth texture that is inviting to the touch, animated by thin ribbons of white and gray veining and finished by rounded edges on every corner that allow the table to float in a room like a center table or kitchen island. Square, muscular legs support the mass of the table with the aid of decorative brackets at the top, and joined by stretchers across the length and width–all washed in a thick coat of refreshing green paint. The proportions and quality craftsmanship of the table could easily adapt to a multitude of uses around the home, even to a retail or business environment as a display fixture. As well, the table could be lifted and customized as a kitchen island or work table. Cleaned, tightened, and polished with a French paste wax ready to join your interior. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition.
