Description
Beautiful late Biedermeier casket box, circa 1850.
Frame in walnut with top cover made of ebony Veneer and big flower inlays in green-red-yellow toned Fruitwoods.
Side inlays are done in Ebony, Maple and Plum.
It has been hand-polished with shellac (French Polish). Ebonized edges
Inside in walnut wood. Old lock is not working, but could be replaced by a new one. -
