Floor lamp "Zerodue WWF Tower" from the "Stilllight" series. This lamp is Out of production .
This specific item was included in the Exhibition in 2017 at:
"The Last Avant Garde <> radical design in Italy 1966 - 1988"
at the Stedelijk Museum 's-Hertogenbosch in The Netherlands (=> new name: "Design Museum Den Bosch")
Milanese architect and designer Matteo Thun was born and raised in the bilingual German and Italian region of South Tyrol, Italy. After studying with Oskar Kokoschka and Emilio Vedova at the Salzburg Academy, he graduated with honors in Architecture from the University of Florence. He co-founded the "Memphis" group in Milan in 1981 with Ettore Sottsass and opened his own studio in Milan in 1984. In 2001 he founded Matteo Thun & Partners. -
