Description
Shipping is $100. Sometimes the simplest images are the most complex. Peacock Displaying Blue and Green Plumage is more than a bird portrait. It's a portrait of a bird as a living work of abstract art. The photographers captures the bird in the three-quarter view. This is the most flattering angle to view the face and the eye-catching crest feathers that resemble the helmet of a Roman centurion, while the Peacock displays to attract a Peahen.
Signed dated and numbered 2/15 lower right recto, other sizes available, unframed, printed later .

As an undergrad in painting, he studied with great teachers such as first-generation abstract expressionist Robert Richenburg and hyper-realist painter Janet Fish. In Graduate School he worked with famed critic E.C. Goossen and went on to work as a Photographer, New York Advertising Art Director, and Art Collector.
