Pair Thai Thepphanom Angel Table Lamps, Brass Base

Description
Thepphanom in Thai ancient tradition is the angels (brother and sister) protecting a Buddhist temple and often depicted in a kneeling position. This pair (both female) is in painted and gilt metal in fine detail over a solid brass scroll-form base. Well-matched brown shade with gold-foil interior in very good condition. Likely 1950s, unknown manufacture. Statue base is 4 3/4" square and statue is 9" tall.
