Taisho period (1912 - 1926) painting of a full moon shining through the craggy branches of plum trees. Wonderful painting style. This screen has a mate, both are available and sold separately. Signature and seal on the mate read: Tojo. Tojo was a student of Takeuchi Seiho. Mineral pigments on silk with a silk brocade border and a black gloss frame.
