    Late Edo period (early 19th century) soft painting of wild flowers (including bushclover, thistles, and bellflower) and grasses painted in mineral pigments on paper with gold dust. Mounted with 19th century silk brocade with a diamond, cherry and pine design. Blue fabric backing and a black gloss lacquer frame.
