An Unusual Giltwood And Gilt Pewter Mirror In The Hollywood Regency Taste Set With Cobalt Blue Glass
Probably American.
The domed crest outlined with ribbed molding contains a system of blue glass and mirror plates with gilt pewter molded framing centered by a bordered circular motif set with paterae. The lower section with rectangular mirror plate and reeded molded borders. The four long blue glass sections of the border mounted with interlocking oval and circular designs in gilt pewter. The four square corners with blank blue glass panels. One blue border panel with old fracture. -
