Rare persimmon lacquer with outstanding carved and gilded dragon feet. Meticulously detailed parcel-gilt palace scenes; with up to sixteen courtiers and architectural follies. The table tops are not just simply rectangular. Superb Chinese creation for export to England during the Regency period.

Five decades of antiques collecting experience in a succession of Historic Register homes in Virginia, New York, and Connecticut; and a 1901 beaux arts building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Open Thursday through Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and on Tuesday and Wednesday by appointment.
