HMN was founded in 1934 in Denmark as a furniture-producing company. The company was started by Holger Marius Nielsen, who could see the possibilities of using new techniques in metal production. HMN produced furniture for canteens, living rooms, bedrooms and offices. The rehab products HMN produced were primarily bed / reading tables, shower/commode chairs, study beds for medical clinics and hospitals.
