Description
Mathieu Matégot trolley. Originally designed by Mathieu Matégot in 1953 and newly produced by GUBI in an authorized re-edition, the spacious Matégot Trolley is fabricated using ingeniously connected steel tubes with two perforated metal trays. To create the trolley, Matégot applied his groundbreaking technique, Rigitulle, where metal tubing is combined with perforated metal. Like fabric, Rigitulle could be bent, folded, and shaped to give furniture transparency, weightlessness, and an everlasting modern look. The lightness evoked by the Matégot Trolley is underscored by its rolling casters which allow it to float along the floor.
