Large scale iteration of Anna Lisa Thomson's classic Swedish Modern table lamp design for Upsala Ekeby, having an ovoid form with tailored reveal foot and collar neck and a lively set of reliefs depicting marine flora and fauna; in this case crafted in terra-cotta toned earthenware that offers a nice sense of depth with a white glazing; Sweden, 1940s. (Please note that ceramic base alone is 12.5" H; with shade the overall height would be approximately 24", depending on shade preference._
