Pia Manu ceramic tile coffee table - 1960s
-
Description
Pia Manu, coffee table, slate, chromed steel, Belgium, 1960s
This unique, handmade coffee table with chromed steel frame is designed in the workshop of Pia Manu. The table top is a true eye-catcher. With its subtle tones of reds and black the table top is quite exquisite.
Would fit well in a rustic modern interior featuring some textured and brutalist pieces. Pia Manu is a workshop from Ingelmunster, Belgium. Here, amongst others, Jules Dewaele and his son Koen Dewaele designed several design pieces during the 1960s. Pia Manu is still working along similar lines, with natural materials such as stone and travertine combined with ceramics. -
