Description
MENDINI, Alessandro (Italian 1931). Bar cabinet Cantaride, design 1984. Frame in grey lacquered wood with hand-painted polychrome decoration, signed in facsimile 'Alessandro Mendini' (right), rectangular legs in blue lacquered wood. With two doors, a tray, and a bar with a fold-down door. Inside the fold-down door panel, a silver-plated tray-top with screen-printed decoration, handle in natural anodized aluminum, with small sticker 'Zanotta Edizioni Made in Italy' (right, next to the signature), produced by Zanotta, Italy. Good condition. This cabinet is part of the special 'Edizioni' collection by Zanotta, limited editions between art and design. At least two different versions were produced, the other one with one cylindrical and one rectangular foot.
