Description
A cast bronze two-piece bronze buckle with hook and loop verso by French art jeweler Line Vautrin (1913-1997). The sculptural pieces are In a rare Inca motif, with triangular indentation in contrast with scrolling lines and wedge-shape protrusions on the edge. This belongs to a series the designer made circa 1946 for a small group of pieces, mostly buckles and brooches. Signed "Vautrin" verso as shown. The offer is for the buckle only, no belt present.
